If you were affected by the 481 Van Brunt fire, you may be eligible for low-interest federal disaster loans, even if you're a freelancer, independent contractor, or artist without an LLC. Download our quick start guide to understand the difference between Physical Disaster Loans (for damaged property and equipment) and EIDL loans (for lost income and ongoing business expenses), what documents you'll need, key deadlines, and answers to the most common questions we've heard from our community.

The SBA loan deadline is March 14, 2026. The EIDL deadline is August 14, 2026.
